刘烈红，九岁习武学艺，1958年考入新宁县祁剧团工作，1960年被评为湖南省优秀青年演员。1963年与湖南武术名师蒋兆鸿先生创编出一套四段、八十二式的“岩鹰拳”法，自成一派，震撼武林、名扬四海，共夺得了国内外各类武术比赛的金、银奖牌380余枚，得到了武林同道及许世友将军的高度评价。2011年、2013年《岩鹰拳》被湖南省人民政府和国家体育总局列为非物质文化遗产重点保护与推广项目; 2021年岩鹰拳正式列入了国家级非物质文化遗产保护与推广项目，2021年又获得世界文化艺术交流网、联合国教科文组织，日本美术协会、中意文化艺术联合会的联合国艺术终身成就奖和联合国艺术勋章。被誉为中外著名的“岩鹰拳王”。刘烈红武德高尚，乐于助人，教武教德，习武为民。他多次挺身而出，捉拿扒手，勇斗歹徒，匡扶正义，除暴安民。他还以自己高超的骨伤科医术，救死扶伤，治病救人，几十年来，经他治愈的骨伤科病人达二千多人次，不收分文。口碑赞誉湖湘各地。

Liu Liehong, a nine year old martial artist, was admitted to Xinning Qi Opera Troupe in 1958 and was awarded the title of Outstanding Young Actor of Hunan Province in 1960. In 1963, he and Mr. Jiang Zhaohong, a famous martial arts teacher in Hunan, created a set of four section and eighty-two style “Rock Eagle Fist”, which formed a school of its own, shocked the Wulin and became famous all over the world. It won more than 380 gold and silver medals in various martial arts competitions at home and abroad, and was highly praised by fellow martial arts practitioners and General Xu Shiyou. In 2011 and 2013, Rock Eagle Fist was listed as a key protection and promotion project of intangible cultural heritage by the People’s Government of Hunan Province and the General Administration of Sport of the People’s Republic of China; In 2021, Rock Eagle Fist was officially included in the national intangible cultural heritage protection and promotion project. In 2021, it won the United Nations Art Lifetime Achievement Award and the United Nations Arts Medal from the World Cultural and Arts Exchange Network, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the Japanese Art Association, and the Sino Italian Culture and Arts Federation. It is known as the famous “Rock Eagle Boxing King” at home and abroad. Liu Liehong is noble in martial arts, willing to help others, teaching martial arts and morality, and practicing martial arts for the people. He has stood up for many times to catch pickpockets, fight criminals bravely, uphold justice and pacify the people. He also used his superb orthopaedic and traumatological skills to save lives, heal the wounded, and heal the sick.
