查拳是回族中流传较广的中国传统拳术长拳的五大流派之一，起源于山东省。分冠县“张氏”查拳、“杨氏”查拳和任城“李氏”查拳三支。其中，冠县“张氏”“杨氏”与明末抗倭英雄——登州（今蓬莱）人戚继光所征兵将新疆回族查密尔（尚义）有关。冠县两派查拳的师承分途约在清雍正年间，而任城一派技艺的形成或许更早。
2008年6月7日，查拳经国务院批准列入第二批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
