下册为格斗实战中防守反击部分和战术部分，共6万余字，附有300余张图解，分别介绍了格斗实战中防守技术32招，防守反击技术70招，贴身靠打12招，地躺击打26招，解脱突打53招，徒手夺凶器27招，持枪击打18招兵238种反击方法。还介绍了各种情况下的战术应用、基本功练习方法等。
Military and Police Practical Fighting Techniques (Up and Down) “is a book published by Beijing Sport University Press in 1989, written by Wang Weidong.

The first volume of “Military and Police Practical Fighting Techniques (Part One and Part Two)” is the basic technical part, introducing the key parts of the human body and their acupoints, the basic overview and characteristics of fighting, as well as various hitting and catching methods. The upper limb hitting section introduces 10 fist techniques, 8 palm techniques, and 8 elbow techniques, while the lower limb hitting section introduces 20 leg techniques and 4 knee techniques. The wrestling section introduces 36 fist techniques, palm hitting techniques, and 10 elbow hitting techniques used to defeat enemies in various situations. The lower limb hitting application section introduces 32 attack methods of leg techniques and 4 application movements of knee techniques, totaling 50000 words, and is accompanied by more than 300 diagrams, making it easy to learn and practical.

The second volume covers the defensive and counterattack parts and tactical parts of combat, with a total of over 60000 words and more than 300 illustrations. It introduces 32 defensive techniques, 70 defensive and counterattack techniques, 12 close to body attacks, 26 lying attacks, 53 relief attacks, 27 unarmed weapon grabs, and 18 recruitment and 238 counterattack methods in combat. It also introduced tactical applications and basic skill training methods in various situations.
