该书共97页，由李小龙挚友严镜海、埃德·帕克作序，同时，李小龙也作有自序一篇。书中前三分之一介绍了中国武术的流派概况、阴阳哲理与基本功训练（李小龙手绘动作图）；后三分之二则着重演示了“振藩拳法”的踢、打、摔、拿，动作照片由李小龙本人及其高足木村武之、严镜海、杰西·格鲁弗、詹姆斯·德迈尔等示范。

Basic Chinese Fist Techniques “is a book published by Ohara Publications in 2007, written by Bruce Lee.
This book is Bruce Lee’s only martial arts monograph published during his lifetime. The pictures in the book are all handmade by Bruce Lee, and the action photos are demonstrated by Bruce Lee himself and his high disciples Takeshi Kimura, Yan Jinghai, Jesse Grover, James Demaire, and others.
Chinese Gung Fu, published in 1963, is the only personal monograph published by Bruce Lee during his lifetime. When this book was published, Bruce Lee was only 23 years old.
The book consists of 97 pages and is prefaced by Bruce Lee’s close friends Yan Jinghai and Ed Parker. At the same time, Bruce Lee also wrote a self preface. The first third of the book introduces the overview of the schools of Chinese martial arts, the philosophy of yin and yang, and basic skill training (Bruce Lee’s hand drawn action diagrams); The latter two thirds focused on demonstrating the kicking, hitting, throwing, and holding techniques of the “Zhenfan Fist Technique”.
