《武当秘传短兵绝技》是2004年北京体育大学出版社出版的图书，作者是赵蓉和游明生。

游明生先生为四川省南充市武术协会秘书长兼果州内家武术院院长，中国武当山武当拳法研究会理事、特约研究员，中国武当山出国表演团成员。他精于松溪内家拳术，其夜行刀术轻灵圆活，潇洒飘逸，饮誉武坛，人称“武林夜侠”。1991年秋，他应邀出席首届中国武当武术节，获表演优秀奖；1993年在江西南昌举行的全国武术观摩大赛中获金牌奖；1995年又荣获首届中国国际武当擂台公开赛“创龙杯”奖。曾应邀参加大型纪录片《武当神功》和中央电视台《武当武术系列》的拍摄演出，并应邀赴新加坡、法国等地讲学。先后多次荣获四川省优秀武术辅导员和四川省先进武术工作者称号，因其在武术方面的突出贡献，1998年又被中国武当山武当拳法研究会授予“武当武术功臣”称号。其事迹已载入《中国当代武林人物志》；法国《黑带》杂志以“鲜为人知的内家绝技”为主题，对其精湛技艺作了专访报道。近年来，他先后在国内外刊物上发表武当作品数十篇，所著《跌法入门》、《夜行刀》、《擒摔秘技》、《拳经启悟》、《秘传内家拳精选》、《松溪短打》、《鞭棍实战绝技》、《武术协调操》、《三十二势绝命拳》等武术著作和VCD专辑，出版后影响很大，学员遍及海内外。
自古四川多奇人异士，也许是人杰地灵吧。在武当派拳功传人中就有一位颇有建树的人物，他就是内家拳继承者之一游明生拳师，因为同宗之原，使我们结成挚交。他所编写的《武当秘传短兵绝技》古朴实用，是师承古法并领略内家拳的理论与实践的结果。在内家拳的发展历史上，由于历代内家拳有单传的习规，且保守思想又很强，故内家拳流传上受到很多限制，听说内家拳者多，而见到内家拳真传者却很少，能够有缘承传内家拳者就更少了。明生君的内家拳学识渊博，以理论与实践的高度统一而形成其鲜明的特色。他不仅能正确地解释内家拳经典味义，而且能将其精华演练得淋漓尽致。1991年11月8日应“首届武当文化武术节”之邀，我与明生君同台献技，观明生兄之拳械风格独特，劲力顺迭，圆活自然，动静之间蕴藏着更深阴阳之理，大有行云流水之势，龙盘虎踞之威，潇潇洒洒，低沉飘逸，不失道派风格，让人观之赏心悦目。

Mr. You Mingsheng is the Secretary General of the Nanchong Martial Arts Association in Sichuan Province and the President of Guozhou Neijia Martial Arts Academy. He is also a member of the Wudang Mountain Wudang Fist Research Association and a special researcher. He is also a member of the Wudang Mountain Overseas Performance Troupe in China. He is proficient in the martial arts of the Songxi family, and his nocturnal swordsmanship is light, agile, and elegant. Due to the same lineage, we have formed a sincere friendship. The “Wudang Secret Short Soldier Unique Skills” he wrote is simple and practical, and is the result of learning from ancient methods and experiencing the theory and practice of Neijia Fist. In the history of the development of Neijia Fist, due to the tradition of single transmission and strong conservative thinking throughout history, the dissemination of Neijia Fist has been greatly restricted. It is said that there are many Neijia Fist practitioners, but few have seen the true transmission of Neijia Fist. Even fewer have the chance to inherit Neijia Fist. Ming Shengjun’s Neijia Fist is knowledgeable and highly unified in theory and practice, forming its distinct characteristics. He can not only correctly explain the classic meaning of Neijiaquan, but also practice its essence thoroughly. On November 8, 1991, at the invitation of the “First Wudang Cultural Martial Arts Festival”, Ming Shengjun and I performed together to observe the unique style of Ming Shengjun’s boxing and weapons, with smooth and natural strength, and a deeper sense of yin and yang hidden in the movement and stillness. This book mainly introduces some of the short soldier techniques in the Southern School of Wudang’s Neijia Fist, which are easy to understand and self study and practice. Both beginners and those with a certain foundation in martial arts can draw nourishment from it, making it a good reference book for Wudang boxing. In recent years, Neijia Fist has been widely loved by people, and practice has proven that it is a boxing style that excels in martial arts and is good at health preservation. Neijia Fist originated from Wudang Mountain. It is not only a boxing technique, but also an exquisite and ingenious comprehensive art, and is a brilliant cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.
