《清嘉录》是清代道光间苏州文士顾禄的著作,此作品以十二月为序,记述了苏州及附近地区的节令习俗。《清嘉录》大量引证古今地志、诗文、经史,并逐条考订,文笔优美,叙事详实,有保存乡邦文献的作用,是研究明清时代苏州地方史、社会史的重要资料。《清嘉录》是清苏州文士顾禄记述苏州及附近地区节令习俗的著作。元末明初顾禄所撰《桐桥倚棹录》亦为同类著作,且有“《清嘉录》以时间为经,《桐桥倚棹录》以空间为“纬”之说,《清嘉录》以苏州一带风景佳地、古今名人遗迹为纲,集建筑、掌故、诗文为一编,与《桐桥倚棹录》角度不同,互为补充。作者为清代的顾禄。顾禄,字总之,一字铁卿,自署茶蘑山人。清道光咸丰年间苏州吴县人,其生卒年月没有明确的记载。
Qing Jia Lu “is the work of Gu Lu, a Suzhou scholar during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. This work, starting from December, describes the seasonal customs of Suzhou and its surrounding areas. Qingjialu cites a large number of ancient and modern geographical records, poems, and classics, and makes textual research one by one. With beautiful writing and detailed narration, it has the function of preserving the rural literature. It is an important material for studying the local history and social history of Suzhou in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Qing Jia Lu “is a work written by Gu Lu, a scholar from Suzhou during the Qing Dynasty, who recorded the customs and festivals of Suzhou and its surrounding areas. The book “Tongqiao Yizhao Lu Lu” written by Gu Lu in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties is also a similar work, and there is a saying that “Qingjia Lu” uses time as the scripture, and “Tongqiao Yizhao Lu” uses space as the “latitude”. “Qingjia Lu” takes the beautiful scenery and ancient and modern celebrity relics in Suzhou as the outline, and combines architecture, anecdotes, and poetry as a compilation. It is different from “Tongqiao Yizhao Lu” in terms of angles and complements each other. The author is Gu Lu from the Qing Dynasty. Gu Lu, with the words’ in short ‘and’ Tie Qing ‘, is a self proclaimed tea mushroom mountain person. During the reign of Emperor Daoguang and Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty, there is no clear record of the birth and death dates of people from Wuxian, Suzhou.
