The color painting set print of “The beautiful scenery of the West Lake” edited by Fuyangzi on the lake, printed by the Wenchang Pavilion in Hangzhou in the 15th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1750), is magnificent and exquisite. It depicts the famous ten sceneries of the West Lake: the spring dawn of the Sudi, the willow waves and the warblers, the evening bell of Nanping, the clouds at the two peaks, the sunset at the Lei peak, the wind and lotus at the Qu Yuan, the fish watching at the Flower Harbor, the autumn moon at the Pinghu Lake, the three pools and the moon, the broken bridge and the snow. This book was printed by Wenchang Pavilion in Hangzhou in 1750, the 15th year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty. The front of the book is orderly, and the back of the book is postscript. The front page is a panoramic view, followed by: Sudi Spring Dawn, Quyuan Wind Lotus, Willow Waves Smell Orioles, Flower Harbor Fish Watching, Nanping Evening Bell, Pinghu Autumn Moon, Two Peaks Insert Clouds, Three Pools Print the Moon, Thunder Peak Sunset, Broken Bridge Snow.
