1938年的《日寇暴行实录》有日寇侵略地图,全书分炸、杀、奸、掠迫、日寇暴行的自供、流徙等部分内容.序言为国民党高级将领陈诚所作,他在序言中写道:“日寇将士,日暮途穷,悲末日之将至,逞兽类之暴行,铁蹄所至,村舍为墟,其残忍恶毒,淫秽贪狠,既非人间想象所能及,亦非笔墨文字所能罄.是册所搜材料,以时间之仓促,至不完备,故书片所掠之事实,实不足以表日寇残暴行为之万一.”
翻开图书,大量图片让人触目惊心.有日寇轰炸天津、上海、杭州、郑州、南京、汉口、石家庄等地的图片,就连寺庙、佛像也不放过.有在南京被日寇用煤油烧死的同胞图片,有在苏州郊外被日寇飞机炸毙的三岁孩童图片,有南昌民众惨遭家破人亡的悲痛情形图片,有活埋场景,有砍头惨状,有妇女被凌辱后的照片.
该图书是民国二十七年（1938年）7月由当时国民政府军事委员会政治部编印,共计100页,图片共选录侵华日军暴行图片150幅.

The book was compiled and printed by the Political Department of the Military Commission of the then National Government in July of the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938). It has a total of 100 pages and 150 pictures of Japanese troops’ atrocities against China
