此为中国明代童蒙读本，上图下文，书分三卷，内容辑自《蜀志》、《通鑑》诸书。为卷上君道门、臣道门。卷中儒术门、人伦门。卷下官制门、人事门。每门再分小类，如君道门，分古初、帝王、政治、仁德、符命、君道、圣寿、圣孝、命相、求贤、礼贤。每类列二至八则故事，每则以四字为标题，如求贤，为「草庐顾亮」、「蒲轮迎申」。共计一百三十五则故事，图亦一百三十五幅。
