花卉虫草册.二十四帧.清蒋廷锡绘.故宫博物院藏本

此《花卉虫草册》（纸本设色）、《花卉册》（纸本水墨）由清代宫廷画家蒋廷锡绘制，各十二帧。册一以工笔画花卉、草虫，意笔画湖石、坡陂作为花卉的背景。册二以墨笔、淡色分别画兰花、荷花、竹子、梅花等。这两册均为故宫博物院藏本。蒋廷锡（1669年—1732年），字酉君、杨孙，号南沙、西谷，又号青桐居士。清朝前期政治人物、画家。汉族，江苏常熟人。康熙四十二年（1703年）进士，雍正年间曾任礼部侍郎、户部尚书、文华殿大学士、太子太傅等职，是清朝重要的宫廷画家之一。雍正六年（1728年）拜文华殿大学士，仍兼理户部事。次年加太子太傅。雍正十年（1732年）卒于任内。谥文肃。
The Flowers and Cordyceps Collection (paper color) and Flowers Collection (paper ink) were painted by Jiang Tingxi, a court painter of the Qing Dynasty, with 12 frames each. Volume I uses meticulous painting of flowers, grass and insects, and freehand brushwork of lake rocks and slope slopes as the background of flowers. Volume 2 draws orchids, lotus, bamboo, plum flowers, etc. with ink and light colors. Both volumes are in the collection of the Palace Museum. Jiang Tingxi (1669-1732), known as Youjun and Yang Sun, is also known as Nansha, Xigu and Qingtong Sage. Political figures and painters in the early Qing Dynasty. Han nationality, born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. In the 42nd year of Kangxi (1703), he was a scholar. During the reign of Emperor Yongzheng, he served as a minister in the Ritual Department, a minister in the Ministry of Household Affairs, a great scholar in the Wenhua Hall, and a crown prince. He was one of the important court painters in the Qing Dynasty. In the sixth year of Yongzheng’s reign (1728), he paid homage to the Great Scholar of the Wenhua Hall and still managed the household affairs. The next year, he was added to the crown prince. He died in the tenth year of Yongzheng’s reign (1732). Shi Wensu.
