各样鱼图册.十二册.二百八十八幅.水粉.外销画.约1773-1776年
《各样鱼图册》是清末广州画坊为欧洲人绘制，共十二册二百八十八幅，并配有汉字说明。各种各样的鱼虾蟹，惟妙惟肖，栩栩如生。这些水粉画约绘制于十八世纪晚期。这些中国的绘画作坊为了回应欧洲买家的期望，他们根据这些买家的愿望调整了它们的形象。在没有影像的时代，来自西方的传教士/学者通过绘画这种方式了解东方世界。通过这些绘画也让西方世界对于东方文明古国有了更直观的感受。
The Atlas of All Kinds of Fish was painted for Europeans by Guangzhou Painting Workshop at the end of the Qing Dynasty, with a total of 288 pictures in 12 volumes and descriptions in Chinese characters. All kinds of fish, shrimp and crab are lifelike. These gouache paintings were painted in the late 18th century. In response to the expectations of European buyers, these Chinese painting workshops adjusted their image according to their wishes. In the era without images, missionaries/scholars from the West understand the eastern world through painting. Through these paintings, the western world has a more intuitive feeling of the ancient oriental civilization.
