During the Qing Dynasty, the production of export paintings in Guangzhou was once in its heyday, and as a tourist souvenir similar to today’s scenery postcards, it went abroad, spread widely in Britain and across Europe, became an important medium for westerners to understand ancient China, and was collected by famous museums in Europe and the United States.
