谷文晁（1763～1841），日本江户时代的著名画家。父谷麓谷系名诗人，学狩野派画家加藤文丽后转师渡边玄对，游历长崎时又得到中国清代画家张秋谷的教益并善讲西洋画技法融入日本画当中。他对元、明、清山水花鸟画之研究颇具特色。能熟练地掌握中国画的设色、泼墨技法，笔下题材无所不涉包罗万象.成为江户文人画的代表人物。他的门生渡边毕山、立原杏所、高久霭崖等，都是江户地方名画家。作品有《集古十种插图》《公余探胜图卷》《五柳先生图》等。《[浴恩春秋両園]桜花譜》是谷文晁应当时的大名松平定信的要求，依据都筑地灵严岛的别墅内种植的124种樱花绘制的图谱，风格清丽。
Gu Wenchao (1763-1841), a famous painter in the Edo era in Japan. Fugu Lugu is a famous poet, who learned from Kato Wenli, a painter of the Shouye School, and then transferred to Watanabe Xuanpai. When he traveled to Nagasaki, he also learned from Zhang Qiugu, a Chinese painter of the Qing Dynasty, and was good at introducing western painting techniques into Japanese painting. His research on landscape flower and bird paintings in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties is quite characteristic. He can skillfully master the color setting and ink splashing techniques of Chinese painting, and his subjects are all-inclusive. He has become a representative figure of Edo literati painting. His students, such as Watanabe Bishan, Liyuan Xingsuo and Gaojiuya, are all famous local artists in Edo. His works include “Ten Illustrations in Ancient Times”, “The Tournament in Gongyu” and “Mr. Wu Liu”. “[Yu En Spring and Autumn Yu Yuan] Yu Hua Pu” is a map drawn by Gu Wenchao in response to the request of the great name Song Pingding letter at that time, based on 124 kinds of cherry blossoms planted in the villa of Lingyan Island, the capital of the city. The style is clear and beautiful.
