《中国高等植物图鉴第三册 (1974)》是2002-01科学出版社出版的图书，作者是中国科学院植物研究所 。《中国高等植物图鉴(第3册)》，我国幅员广大，植物种类繁多，高等植物（包括苔藓植物、蕨类植物、裸子植物、被子植物）约有三万种。《中国高等植物图鉴(第3册)》主要收录有经济价值和常见的种类八千余种，分五册出版。第一册包括苔藓植物、蕨类植物、裸子植物和被子植物的木麻黄科至莲叶桐科，第二册包括被子植物的罂粟科至山茱萸科，第三册包括被子植物的岩梅科至茄科，第四册包括被子植物的玄参科至菊科，第五册包括被子植物的单子叶植物纲。每种植物均有形态、分布、生境方面的简要描述和线条图，有的植物还叙述了它的主要用途。由于正文篇幅关系，有些种类的某些别名和重要拉丁异名分别放在中名和拉丁名索引中。每册附录有相应的分科、分属检索表；自第三册始，应读者的要求，还增加科的简要描述和一些属的分种检索表。中国高等植物图鉴.第三册之一、中国高等植物图鉴.第三册之二、中国高等植物图鉴.第三册之三
Atlas of Higher Plants of China Volume 3 (1974) is a book published by Science Press in January 2002. The author is Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Atlas of China’s Higher Plants (Volume 3) shows that China has a vast territory and a wide variety of plants. There are about 30000 species of higher plants (including bryophytes, ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms). The Atlas of Higher Plants in China (Volume 3) mainly includes more than 8000 species of economic value and common species, and is published in five volumes. The first volume includes the casuarinaceae to nelumbaceae of bryophytes, ferns, gymnosperms and angiosperms; the second volume includes the papaveraceae to cornaceae of angiosperms; the third volume includes the amaranthaceae to solanaceae of angiosperms; the fourth volume includes the scrophulariaceae to compositae of angiosperms; and the fifth volume includes the monocotyledonous class of angiosperms. Each plant has a brief description and line diagram of its morphology, distribution and habitat. Some plants also describe their main uses. Due to the length of the text, some aliases and important Latin synonyms of some kinds are placed in the middle name and Latin name indexes respectively. The appendix of each volume has a corresponding family and genus key; Since the third volume, at the request of the readers, a brief description of the family and a key to the classification of some genera have been added.
