《中国高等植物图鉴补编第二册 (1983) 》是 2002年 科学出版社出版的图书，作者是中国科学院植物研究所，《中国高等植物图鉴(补编第2册)》第一、二册在1972年出版后，不少读者向我们反映，《中国高等植物图鉴(补编第2册)》中被子植物门离瓣花类中不少大科、大属选种数目较少，且无分种检索表，不容易掌握近缘种的区别特征。从第三册起，我们接受了读者的意见，适当增加了种类，并对收入《中国高等植物图鉴(补编第2册)》十种以上的属增加了分种检索表，此外，还增加了科的形态描述。《中国高等植物图鉴(补编第2册)》最后一册，即第五册，于1976年出版后，我们又邀请了有关科研、教学单位共同编写《中国高等植物图鉴(补编第2册)》的补编，自1977年3月起开始了对第一、二册的补充工作，这一工作已于最近完成。这次编写的补编共二册，本册对离瓣花类的景天科到山茱萸科共54科（详见目录）补充了分种检索表，对其中的26科补充了种类（共318种），此外还增加了科的形态描述。中国高等植物图鉴.补编第二册之一、中国高等植物图鉴.补编第二册之二、中国高等植物图鉴.补编第二册之三

The Chinese Higher Plant Atlas Supplement Volume II (1983, It is not easy to master the distinguishing characteristics of related species. Since the third volume, we have accepted the opinions of the readers, appropriately increased the species, and added a taxonomic index to more than ten genera included in the Higher Plants Atlas of China (Supplement Volume 2). After the publication, we invited relevant research and teaching institutions to jointly prepare the supplement to the Chinese Higher Plant Atlas (Supplement Volume 2). Since March 1977, we have begun to supplement the first and second volumes, which has been completed recently. This supplement is composed of two volumes. In this volume, a classification index is supplemented for 54 families (see the catalog for details) from Crassulaceae to Cornaceae, including 26 families (318 species in total).
