The author’s exquisite language in traditional Chinese painting not only vividly portrays the captivating beauty and charm of the individuals depicted, but also vividly conveys the aesthetic and philosophical ideas deeply embedded in them. Before the screen of this book, there is a lengthy introduction written by Mr. Zhao Changping. He evaluated and studied Mr. Dai’s character painting creation and social response as a highly infectious cultural phenomenon. Through a comparative analysis of the historical and cultural background of Chinese and Western painting, as well as the creative ideas and arts of painters, he revealed that Dai’s painting reflects the charm of the Jin and Tang dynasties from the perspective of the bones of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is particularly adept at incorporating various strengths through seizing opportunities. He also pointed out the practical significance of Dai’s achievements in the reform and innovation of Chinese painting.
