《武当气功太极拳》是1995年北京体育大学出版社出版的图书,作者是马杰。
“武当气功太极拳”系根据武当山道教所传的养生功法及武当派内家拳术的拳理,采用“九圈十八势”功法,进行动静兼备、内外兼修的一套拳术功法,它既具有太极拳如行云流水的潇洒飘逸之神韵,又具有气功疏通经络以调和气血之效能,二者相辅相成,此套功法运用“以意导气”、“以气运身”的导引术和吐纳法,结合肢体运动来疏通人身十二正经和奇经八脉,通过“练形生精、练精化气、练气化神、练神还虚”等四个环节来调和气血、舒张百脉,尤其能使人体中枢神经系统得到良好锻炼,增强大脑皮层调节能力,促进新陈代谢,协调脏腑正常运行,从而对防治高血压、心脏病、神经衰弱、骨质增生等多种疾病均有良好效果,特别是对长期从事案头工作的知识分子和脑力劳动者效果更佳。
