陶子鸿是一代心意拳回族武术大师，出生在安徽省寿县正阳关的一个武术世家，从小习练家传武艺，十岁拜名师满寿堂、张英振为师，学习查拳和十八般器械，1933年考入南京中央国术馆，在王子平、姜容樵、黄柏年等大师传授下，武艺突飞猛进，在两次国考比赛中都获了奖。1948年在上海拜卢嵩高专习心意六合拳，全面继承了古传心意六合拳的技艺，解放后，培养了大批武术人才，本书是陶子鸿老先生几十年的心血结晶。是由他的学生张克强文字整理完成。
Tao Zihong is a generation of Hui martial arts master of Xinyi Boxing. He was born in Zhengyang Pass, Shouxian County, Anhui Province. He practiced family handed martial arts when he was young. At the age of 10, he learned boxing and 18 kinds of equipment by visiting famous teachers Man Shoutang and Zhang Yingzhen. In 1933, he was admitted to Nanjing Central National Martial Arts Museum. Under the guidance of Wang Ziping, Jiang Rongqiao, Huang Bainian and other masters, his martial arts improved by leaps and bounds and won awards in two national examination competitions. In 1948, he learned Xinyi Liuhe Boxing in Shanghai Bailu Song College, fully inheriting the skills of the ancient Xinyi Liuhe Boxing. After liberation, he trained a large number of martial arts talents. This book is the crystallization of the efforts of Mr. Tao Zihong for decades. It was finished by his student Zhang Keqiang.
