故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系-鼻烟壶，本卷从清宫收藏的数千件鼻烟壶中精选出410件，按质地分为玻璃类、金属胎珐琅类、玉石类、瓷器类、竹木牙角匏和漆类、内画类鼻烟壶等六大类，每类中又包含若干不同的品种。精美的鼻烟壶展示了诸多的艺术门类，放射出奇光异彩。这是故宫博物院藏鼻烟壶首次品类齐全的集中出版，具有着极强的欣赏性和资料性。　　该书设计淡雅，色彩精美，品种丰富，文笔流畅。

The museum has a large collection of cultural relics – snuff bottles. In this volume, 410 snuff bottles are selected from thousands of snuff bottles collected in the Qing Palace, which are divided into six categories according to their quality: glass, metal enamel, jade, porcelain, bamboo, wood, tooth angle pao and lacquer, and interior painting snuff bottles. Each category includes several different varieties. The exquisite snuff bottle displays many artistic categories and emits extraordinary splendor. This is the first time that snuff bottles collected in the Palace Museum have been published in a comprehensive way, which is highly appreciative and informative. The book is elegant in design, beautiful in color, rich in variety and fluent in writing.
