这本《博物馆图谱.百鸟.异兽类》大约是1878年（明治11年）日本帝室博物馆编的一本博物图谱；图谱前半部分描绘了多种珍稀鸟类，甚至还有很多国外品种。后半部分是一些兽类和传说中的异兽，卷末还有一幅龙的画。整体画法上以东方画法为主，也有一些西洋画法。
This “Museum Manual. Hundred Birds. Exotic Animals” is a museum manual compiled by the Japanese Imperial House Museum in 1878 (Meiji 11); The first half of the map depicts a variety of rare birds, and even many foreign species. The second part is about some beasts and legendary beasts. At the end of the volume, there is a picture of a dragon. The overall painting method is mainly oriental, but there are also some western painting methods.
