The Forbidden City Treasures is a book published by the Forbidden City Press on April 1, 2006 and compiled by the Palace Museum. The atlas presented to readers is the atlas of exquisite cultural relics displayed in the Treasure Hall after the fifth renovation. It is not simply a pile of pictures, but carefully edited and arranged to show the details of key cultural relics that are easy to be ignored by the audience during the visit. It magnifies or spreads the inscriptions and entertainment of the artifacts, with a long introduction and concise cultural relics explanation, supplemented by carefully selected palace paintings, and on the basis of information and academic, it emphasizes the beauty of binding and lively form. It is believed that such an atlas can not only help the audience appreciate the exhibits better, but also has special collection value in itself.
