所谓大津绘，是浮世绘的一支，大约产生于江户时代，是当时京都与大津中间地带产生的一种民间绘画，为平安朝藤原时代天台僧鸟羽僧正之余流，故又称“鸟羽绘”。鸟羽僧正的戏画滑稽谐趣，因而大津绘从始绘佛像画到鬼兽人间种种相，也皆含可笑味。
The so-called Otsu painting is a branch of Ukiyo-e painting, which was probably produced in the Edo era. It was a folk painting produced in the middle of Kyoto and Otsu at that time. It is the residual flow of Tiantai monks and bird feather monks in the era of Heian Dynasty, so it is also called “bird feather painting”.
