據”龍甲神章”及”煙波釣叟歌”記載，關於奇門遁甲的起源，可追朔至遠古時期涿鹿大戰的傳說年代。當時軒轅黃帝面對強大的蚩尤，涿鹿久戰不克陷入不利境地，軒轅黃帝向上天祈禱，誠心感動了九天玄女，授與天書”龍甲神章”(上古傳說：神龍負圖出洛水，彩鳳銜書碧雲裏)。天書內容記載各種兵器製作工法、調兵遣將運籌帷幄、行軍佈陣作戰的兵法，軒轅黃帝受啟發而作指南車以示四方，有效地壓制蚩尤天降大霧奇法，逆轉局勢，始得克敵致果。軒轅黃帝涿鹿戰役獲勝之後，授命宰相風后演繹天書”龍甲神章”，依據天地人三才範疇，分別完成太乙神數(天時—國祚天命)、大六壬(人和—百姓家常)、奇門遁甲(地利—兵法佈陣)，統稱為上古三式，後人也稱為「天書三式」。其中奇門遁甲風后演繹成”孤虛法十二章”、”兵法十三章”、”奇門遁甲一千零八十局”。經歷周朝太公望—姜子牙(刪減為七十二局)、漢朝黃石公、張良等，承先啟後一脈相承，最終由漢朝劉邦的第一謀臣張良(戰國末年，西元前250年)，刪繁就簡為奇門遁甲一十八局，奇門遁甲陰、陽遁局數爾後以此標準奉為圭臬，沿用至今。　　中華文化博大精深，傳統預測術數淵遠流長，在歷史長流中觀察發現歷代帝王將相，面臨軍國大事、社稷存亡決斷之際，往往取決於術數推演的結果為最終決策依據。天書三式中被推崇為「萬術之王」、「帝王之學」的”奇門遁甲”，主要運用於行兵佈陣、攻城掠地、安營駐紮，甚至用來預測天候，掌握時間、空間的有利條件，擬定制敵機先的策略，掌控兵家勝負關鍵的強勢術數，奇門之術是兵家間生存法則，既分高下，也決生死，因此歷代良臣名將皆精通奇門遁甲之術，透過奇門遁甲的秘術學問，維護國之興盛，家之安康。

Emperor Xuanyuan prayed to heaven and sincerely moved the Nine Heavenly Empress, awarding the Heavenly Book “Dragon Armor Divine Seal” (ancient legend: the divine dragon had a negative image and appeared in Luoshui, while the colorful phoenix held the book in the blue clouds). The content of the Heavenly Book records various weapon making techniques, tactics for deploying troops and generals, and military deployment and combat tactics. Emperor Xuanyuan was inspired to create a guide car to show the four directions, effectively suppressing the Chi You Heavenly Mist Miracle, reversing the situation, and ultimately achieving victory over the enemy. After the victory of the Battle of Zhuolu by Emperor Xuanyuan Huangdi, the Prime Minister Fenghou was appointed to perform the “Dragon Armor Divine Chapter” in the Book of Heaven. According to the category of the Three Talents of Heaven, Earth, and Man, they completed the Taiyi Divine Number (Tianshi – Guozuo Tianming), the Da Liuren (Renhe – People’s Homely Habit), and the Qimen Dunjia (Geography – Military Technique Arrangement), collectively known as the “Three Forms of the Book of Heaven”. Later generations also referred to them as the “Three Forms of the Book of Heaven”. Among them, the Qimen Dunjia Fenghou is portrayed as “Twelve Chapters of the Lonely Void Technique”, “Thirteen Chapters of the Art of War”, and “1080 innings of Qimen Dunjia”. Through the experiences of Duke Wang of the Zhou Dynasty, Jiang Ziya (reduced to 72 innings), Duke Huangshi of the Han Dynasty, Zhang Liang, and others, it passed down in one continuous line. Finally, Zhang Liang, the first advisor of Liu Bang of the Han Dynasty (the late Warring States period, 250 BC), simplified it to 118 innings of Qimen Dunjia, and the Yin and Yang innings of Qimen Dunjia followed this standard for several years, which has been used to this day. The Chinese culture is extensive and profound, and the traditional prediction techniques have a long history. In the long history, it is observed that the emperors, generals and ministers of all dynasties, when faced with military and state affairs and the decision of the survival of the country, often depend on the results of the deduction of the skills as the basis for the final decision. The “Qimen Dunjia”, revered as the “King of Ten Thousand Techniques” and “Emperor’s Learning” in the Three Forms of the Book of Heaven, is mainly used for marching, attacking cities and territories, camping, and even predicting weather conditions, mastering favorable conditions of time and space, formulating strategies for defeating enemies, and controlling the key to the victory or defeat of soldiers. The Qimen Dunjia is a survival law among soldiers, which not only distinguishes between high and low, but also determines life and death, Therefore, throughout history, excellent officials and generals have been proficient in the art of Qimen Dunjia, and through the knowledge of Qimen Dunjia’s secret techniques, they maintain the prosperity of the country and the health of their families.
