文森特·梵高（Vincent van Gogh，1853年3月30日－1890年7月29日，白羊座），荷兰后印象派画家。梵高是表现主义的先驱，并深深影响了二十世纪艺术，尤其是野兽派与德国表现主义。梵高的作品，如《星空》、《向日葵》与《麦田群鸦》等，现已跻身于全球最著名、广为人知与昂贵的艺术作品行列。梵高的早期生活，坚决投身于从事艺术品商人的工作。经历了短暂的教职生涯后，他成了贫困的传教采矿工人。直到约摸27岁时，梵高才开始了他的画家生涯；然而，在他生前的最后十年间，却创作了超过2000幅画，包括约900幅油画与1100幅素描，本网已收录梵高作品1700余幅。灵感家梵高早期只以灰暗色系进行创作，直到他在巴黎遇见了印象派与后印象派（见《爆炸》梵高传，约1887年）。梵高融入了他们的鲜艳色彩与画风，创造了他独特的个人画风，梵高是个热爱自然并能从简单的事物看到纯粹之美的画家，他说他宁可画从窗户向外看到的树影也不画想象中的美丽幻象。梵高的画风在法国阿尔勒的那段时间，发展已臻成熟。 梵高最著名的作品多半是在他生前最后两年创作的，期间梵高深陷于精神疾病中，最终于37岁那年自杀。梵高最为人熟知的是其极具个性的漩涡画法系列作品，如《星空》、《向日葵》；其实他所画的清新亮丽的作品也毫不逊色，如《有垂柳的公园是诗人的花园》、《麦田云雀》、《乌云密布的天空下的麦田》等。 “我的冒险，不是靠主动选择，而是被命运推动。”——梵高
