Identification of Snuff Bottles “is a book published by Fujian Art Publishing House on June 1, 2002.

Identification of Snuff Bottles: A series of books on Chinese antique identification. The Chinese nation is the most collectible nation in the world, and there have been many generations of collectors in history. Since the reform and opening up, there has been a nationwide “collection fever” in China. But collecting is a form of learning, not to mention beginners, even those who are experienced in this way, sometimes they may be deceived by mistake. Nowadays, the market is filled with “new, fake, and broken” calligraphy, painting, and antiques, and even there are often counterfeit products at auctions. This is indeed a problem that makes collectors scratching their heads.

Based on this, we have edited and published this set of “Buddha’s Nestled Books”, which is divided into two series: “Appreciation of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting”. This series of books places special emphasis on “practicality” and “operability”, with the aim of providing practical assistance to collectors. All authors of the series are not only research experts, but also “collectors” and “players” with a certain amount of practical experience, who have “found and missed” in their familiar fields. Some of the works published in the books are their own collections.

Mr. Tang Zhaoji, the author of “Appreciation of Bamboo and Wood Carving”, is a famous calligrapher, seal cutter, cultural relic connoisseur, and editor in chief of “Shanghai Arts and Crafts”. I have been engaged in research on ancient arts and crafts for a long time. Although there is not much literature on “Appreciation of Bamboo and Wood Carving”, it is the result of decades of research. It is concise and concise, and I am sincerely a good teacher and friend for bamboo and wood carving collectors.

In the past, I often heard teachers criticize those who didn’t listen attentively in class and struggled to read in the face of exams as “cramming”. So, is it useful to “cram for it temporarily”? I’m afraid it really works because most people do pass the exam as a result. In terms of collection, it is possible to do the same. The problem is to hold the ‘Buddha’s feet’ instead of other feet. Our book is the “Buddha’s Feet Series”, which holds exactly the “Buddha’s Feet”. If you don’t burn incense during normal times, you can hug Buddha’s feet temporarily. With “Buddha’s feet”, your baby can’t run away. “Please believe this sentence is true. Friends who are passionate about collecting, you may as well buy a set of books to try hugging Buddha’s feet temporarily.

Chen Tao, born on December 6, 1969 in Beijing, was influenced by his family and loved art from a young age. At the age of 20, he began learning to distinguish antique calligraphy and painting in Liulichang, Beijing. He covers a wide range of fields and is proficient in ancient jade, ancient calligraphy and painting, purple sand and other cultural and miscellaneous items. I am currently working at Beijing Antique City.
