《易学应用》被称为“生活易经”。曾有学生在华尔街股市运用张氏易经卦法取得3000倍盈利的战绩。卦象内涵着卦象的哲理，变化的哲理，思想方式、方法的规律等。那么这些思想方式、方法就表现在它的爻变、卦变及卦象的变化上。就如同我们当今的数学、几何、物理等领域中的定义、定理、定律、规则一样，当你这些定理掌握了以后，你就可在各个方面灵活地去运用这些定理。
张延生，教授，工程师，男，汉族，1943年出生于陕西省延安市瓦窑堡。祖籍山东藤县。现任光明中医学院（原光明中医函授大学〕易学与气功研室主任，教授。
张延生1969年毕业于北京航空学院（现名：北京航空航天大学）发动机工艺系发动机工艺专业。其父张协和少年学医，中年知识渊博，医术精湛，并于 1956年发明“经络测定仪”），1958年公开此项技术，在国际上与日本的中谷义雄同时独立发明，但性能优于日式“良导络测定仪”〕，晚年成为中国为数不多的复合型专家型的领导干部。张延生受其影响颇深，知识面广范，自幼喜医好学，大学期间常负“经络仪”与人测试，并博览古医经典著作，钻研、实践医理医术。
The “Application of the Book of Changes” is known as the “Book of Changes in Life”. A student once achieved a profit of 3000 times using Zhang’s Yi Jing hexagram method on the Wall Street stock market. The connotation of hexagrams includes the philosophy of hexagrams, the philosophy of changes, the laws of thinking methods, and so on. So these ways of thinking and methods are manifested in their changes in the lines, hexagrams, and hexagrams. Just like the definitions, theorems, laws, and rules in today’s fields of mathematics, geometry, physics, etc., once you master these theorems, you can flexibly apply them in various aspects.

Zhang Yansheng, professor, engineer, male, Han nationality, was born in Wayaobao, Yan’an City, Shaanxi Province in 1943. My ancestral home is Tengxian, Shandong. Currently serving as the director and professor of the Yixue and Qigong Research Department at Guangming College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (formerly Guangming Correspondence University of Traditional Chinese Medicine).

Zhang Yansheng graduated from the Engine Technology Department of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1969, majoring in Engine Technology. His father, Zhang Xiehe, studied medicine in his youth and had extensive knowledge and excellent medical skills in middle age. He invented the “Meridian Measuring Instrument” in 1956 and publicly disclosed this technology in 1958. It was independently invented internationally along with Japan’s Yoshio Nakagawa, but its performance was superior to the Japanese “Liangdao Luo Measuring Instrument”. In his later years, he became one of the few composite expert leading cadres in China. Zhang Yansheng was deeply influenced by it, with a wide range of knowledge and a love for medicine and learning from a young age. During his university years, he often carried out “meridian instruments” and human tests, and read classic works of ancient medicine, delving into and practicing medical principles and techniques.
