《梅花易数》是中国古代占卜法之一。现在的梅花心易就是梅花易数的别称。相传为宋代易学家邵雍所著，梅花易数起源于汉易，是一部以易学中的数学为基础，结合易学中的“象学”进行占卜的书，相传邵雍运用时每卦必中，屡试不爽。
梅花易数依先天八卦数理，即乾一，兑二，离三，震四，巽五，坎六，艮七，坤八，随时随地皆可起卦，取卦方式多种多样。
梅花易数可以产生声音、方位、时间、动静、地理、天时、人物、颜色、动植物等自然界或人类社会中的一切感知的事物异相，作为预测其发展趋势的方法。从而可洞悉其先机达到知己知彼百战百胜的效果。
梅花易数之由来，相传为麻衣道人、陈希夷等一脉绵延传下之秘法，后为北宋邵康节先生常用的心易神数。此数经邵先生传下后，也使易学在占筮领域上，更有其重大的实用价值，也由邵康节后，才改名为梅花易数。
其名称的来源，相传有一天，邵康节先生进入梅花园赏花时，偶然见两只麻雀在枝头上争吵，后又见此二雀忽然争枝坠地，邵先生看到此种现象，即运用其心经易数，认为不动不占，不因事不占，今见二雀无故争枝坠地，怪哉！因觉有事而占之，断曰：明日当会有一邻女来攀折梅花，园丁不知而逐之，邻女惊恐自梅树跌下，伤到大腿。事后果然应验。
后之学者因认为此卦例特殊，竟能断出与卦题不相干之事情来，为别种占法所不及，才将此种断法命名为“梅花易数”。
The Book of Changes in Plum Blossoms is one of the ancient Chinese divination methods. The current Meihua Xinyi is another name for Meihua Yishu. According to legend, it was written by the Song Dynasty Yi scholar Shao Yong. The Plum Blossom Yi Number originated from the Han Yi and is a book based on the mathematics of the Yi studies and combined with the “Xiangxue” of the Yi studies for divination. It is said that Shao Yong must hit every hexagram when using it, and it has been tested repeatedly.

The number of plum blossoms can be calculated according to the innate Eight Trigrams, which are Qian Yi, Dui Er, Li San, Zhen Si, Xun Wu, Kan Liu, Gen Qi, Kun Ba. You can use various divination methods anytime and anywhere.

Plum blossom counting can generate all perceivable anomalies in nature or human society, such as sound, orientation, time, movement, geography, timing, characters, colors, animals and plants, as a method for predicting its development trend. Thus, one can gain insight into its opportunities and achieve the effect of knowing oneself and the enemy in all battles and victories.

The origin of the number of plum blossoms is said to be a secret technique passed down by a lineage of Taoists such as Ma Yi and Chen Xiyi. Later, it was commonly used by Mr. Shao Kangjie of the Northern Song Dynasty as a divine number for heart changes. After being passed down by Mr. Shao, this number also added significant practical value to the study of the Book of Changes in the field of divination. It was only after the Shao Kang Festival that it was renamed the Plum Blossom Book of Changes.

The origin of its name is said to be that one day, when Mr. Shao Kangjie entered the plum garden to admire flowers, he accidentally saw two sparrows arguing on the branches. Later, he saw these two sparrows suddenly fighting for branches and falling to the ground. When Mr. Shao saw this phenomenon, he used his Heart Sutra to change numbers and believed that they would not move or occupy, and that they would not occupy for any reason. Now, he saw two sparrows fighting for branches and falling to the ground without any reason, what a strange thing! Due to feeling occupied by something, Duan said: Tomorrow there will be a neighbor girl coming to climb and break the plum blossom, but the gardener does not know and chases it. The neighbor girl is afraid that she will fall from the plum tree and hurt her thigh. It was indeed fulfilled afterwards.

Later scholars named this divination method “Plum Blossom Yi Shu” because they believed that it was unique and could break things unrelated to the divination topic, which was beyond the reach of other divination methods.
