《星学大成》是中国传统命理学著作，明朝万民英撰，全书依次编排星学家言，中间插进注释论断，对于星家古法，巨细不遗，可谓大备。书中第一卷为《星曜图例》，第二卷为《观星节要宫度主用十二位论》，第三卷为《诸家限例琴堂虚实》，第四卷为《耶律秘诀》，第五卷到第七卷为《仙城望斗三辰通载》，第八卷为《总龟紫府珍藏星经杂著》，第九卷为《碧玉真经邓史乔庙》，第十卷为《光雷渊微显曜格局》。

明万民英撰，以次编排间，加注释，论断其一，曰星曜图，例其二曰，观星节要，宫度主用十二位，论其三曰，诸家限例琴堂虚实，其四曰，耶律秘诀，其五至七曰，仙城望斗，三辰通载，其八曰，总龟紫府，珍藏星经杂著，其九曰，碧玉真经，邓史乔拗，其十曰，光矞渊微，星曜格局，其於星家古法纤钜不遗，可称大备。
自来言术数者，惟章世纯，所云其法，有验有不验验者，人之知计，所及不验者，天之微妙，斯存其言，最为允当，而术家必欲事事皆验，故多出其途，以测之途，愈多而愈不能中，其尤难信者，无过於乔庙一说，其说以火土二星，相反而相成，昼火参轸，及箕壁无咎，乃大告夜土，角斗及井奎，降福亦如之，不知五行之理，惟主生克，如季土坐於凋零之木，本自借其疏，通旺火，临於瀺灂之流，亦转乐其滋益。
若乃冬火，坐水乡春土，居木位，岂可目为乔庙，而定其吉子。且土虽盛，而木已被，其沈埋火，即炽而水。己虞其枯涸，有利於此，即不利於彼，是皆好奇求验，而不计五行生克之故者。
民英於此类，大抵沿袭旧闻，未能驳正其谬，且今之五星躔度，岁差既异於古亦难，必其尽合，然其鸠集，众说多术家不传之本，实为五星之大全，与子平之三命通会，并行不悖。後来言果老术者，参互考证要，必於是取资焉。明史艺文志，及黄虞稷千顷堂书目，皆以此书为陆位，撰而别出，万民英三命会通，十二卷，成检此本，卷首自序及凡例，确为民英所撰，艺文志验，沿黄氏之误，故仍以民英之名，著录焉。－乾隆四十六年五月恭校.
然而，术家为了事事皆验，就各出心裁，希望能够提高吉凶的预测率，可是天下哪有这等好事，所以其法愈多而愈加不能测中，结果其术往往流于荒谬难信，离五行生克之理越来越远了。但是，万民英对于这些却全然不顾，一概收入书中，致使全书有芳有秽，披阅为难。
