It is considered the most well-known and authoritative encyclopedia in the world today and is one of the commonly known ABC encyclopedias in the English speaking world. The entries in the Encyclopedia Britannica are written by approximately 100 full-time editors and over 4000 experts for educated adult readers. It is widely regarded as the most academic encyclopedia.
