韦千里，浙江嘉兴人。（一九一一年三月三十一日辰时生，民国七十七年十月作古。复旦大学文学系毕业。）民国著名命理学家，少负奇才，当时与袁树珊、徐乐吾并称上海命学三大家。”民国以来素有“南袁北韦”盛誉的两位大师——袁树珊和韦千里,并誉为吾国南北两大师，今两大师皆已仙逝。韦千里祖师一生享誉命相界。于在世之时，将知命识相六十余年的智慧及钻研心得，戮力于培植命理界后进不遗余力。在西安事业时期，宋美龄女士曾找韦千里祖师占卜六壬神课，所言皆验。当时蒋夫人赠送几十块大洋给韦大师，使韦大师扬名而与袁树珊大师同享“南袁北韦”的大名。
