《苗刀技法》是2004年人民体育出版社出版的图书，作者是郭瑞祥。苗刀是中华民族的宝贵文化遗产，祖国的瑰宝，是我国冷兵器时代先进兵器之一。它刀势精粹、雄健凌厉、步法快疾，灵活多变，技法绝妙。历代先人对此珍品多宝藏不现，不易轻传，故流传不广。
为了满足国内外广大读者的要求，根据个人几十年来搜集资料，钻研技法，重新编著《苗刀技法》。新书除包括原《苗刀》全部内容外，增写了苗刀在中国的发展历史、苗刀技法、名人轶事等大量内容。动作图象一律改用照片，这样更趋逼真。该书内容丰富、史实确凿，条理清晰，哲理性强，实战技法特别突出，因此，被中国人民体育出版社命名为“中国武学优秀传统拳械系列丛书”。
Miao Dao Techniques “is a book published by People’s Sports Publishing House in 2004, written by Guo Ruixiang. The Miao Dao is a precious cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, a treasure of the motherland, and one of the advanced weapons of the Cold Weapon Age in China. It has a sharp and powerful blade, fast and agile footwork, and exquisite techniques. Throughout history, many treasures of this treasure were hidden and not easily passed down, so it was not widely circulated.

In order to meet the requirements of readers both domestically and internationally, based on personal information collected over the past few decades, I have delved into techniques and rewritten “Miao Dao Techniques”. The new book not only includes all the content of the original “Miao Dao”, but also includes a large amount of content such as the development history of Miao Dao in China, Miao Dao techniques, and anecdotes of celebrities. All action images are changed to photos, which makes them more realistic. The book is rich in content, with solid historical facts, clear organization, strong philosophical reasoning, and outstanding practical skills. Therefore, it was named the “Excellent Traditional Fist and Weapon Series of Chinese Martial Arts” by the People’s Sports Publishing House of China.
