We have selected 100 biographies of Buddhist and Taoist figures from numerous local records as a supplement to broaden our horizons and provide convenience for research. The time of writing includes one kind of tomorrow, two kinds of Qing Kangxi, four kinds of Yongzheng, fifteen kinds of Qianlong, nine kinds of Jiaqing, fourteen kinds of Daoguang, three kinds of Xianfeng, nine kinds of Tongzhi, twenty-two kinds of Guangxu, three kinds of Xuantong, and eighteen kinds of the Republic of China. The edition dates to one Yongzheng edition, nine Qianlong editions, six Jiaqing editions, eleven Daoguang editions, three Chengfeng editions, ten Tongzhi editions, twenty-one Guangxu editions, six Republic editions, twenty-one lead prints, photocopies, eight lithographs, two stone prints, and two transcripts. The index at the end of the volume includes more than 6500 people, whose biographies contain a large number of important data on religion, philosophy, history, literature, art, folk customs and other aspects. Although the authors of the local chronicles have different views and different choices, it is worth deeply cherishing and studying that they widely reflect the ideological outlook of the talents of Buddhism and Catholicism and the far-reaching impact on society.
